Course Description
This course is designed to introduce students to both Macro- and Micro-Economics. The course examines the different economic systems that exist in today’s world, with special emphasis placed on the mixed economy of the United States. Further topics of study include the principles of supply and demand, business ownership and market structure, employment, money and banking, fiscal policy and monetary policy, and the United States’ role in the greater world economy. This course is designed to provide students with a background in economic principles. NCAA Approved. |
